While I might sneak in a blog entry or two, I'm about "unplug" to take a two-week break from my blogging. I'm heading back to Anchorage for a 10-day visit with mom on the occasion of her 85th birthday. It will be wonderful to get away from the 100-degree sauna that is Dallas in August-October.
For those that are enjoying this ecclectic and eccentric blog, I will return at the end of August with more offbeat musings.
